Meet the MESA TEAM.
Our team brings experience, compassion, and a shared calling to support each MESA Church.
Chase Turner
PRESIDENT AND CEO
After graduating from FHU in 2006 with a degree in Spanish, Chase began working with Spanish Missions, an online ministry that reaches every Spanish-speaking country in the world. In 2023, the Herald of Truth tasked him with starting an outreach ministry that would be useful to reach Spanish speakers in the United States, and MESA was born.
Since then, Chase has built a team to help grow this ministry, and God has blessed these efforts beyond what anyone could have dreamed. His passion to help share the story of Jesus in Spanish-speaking communities across the US continues to grow and so does the team he is tasking to aid in this mission.
Locally, Chase and his wife Kristen serve in a Spanish ministry alongside Esteban Valle García to help teach ESL classes, provide meals, and immigration help when needed.
Zane Perkins
Executive Vice President
Zane serves as Executive Vice President of Herald of Truth, where he leads M.E.S.A. (Mission Evangelize Spanish America), an initiative dedicated to equipping and resourcing Spanish-speaking communities throughout the United States. His years of ministry experience in Latin America directly shape this work.
Zane is a 1999 graduate of Sunset International Bible Institute and holds a master's degree in organizational leadership. He spent seventeen years planting churches in Santiago, Chile, returning to the U.S. in 2019. He then spent several years traveling the country strengthening churches and partnering with SIBI, work that laid the foundation for his current focus on MESA.
Zane and his wife have developed several seminars, available in English or Spanish, including Living in Harmony, Rising Above Our Feelings, The Marriage Puzzle, Practical Principles in Parenting, and Leadership Development, along with a three-day spiritual renewal retreat for those in ministry facing burnout — resources now informing the tools he helps bring to Spanish-speaking congregations through MESA.
Esteban Valle García
MESA LEADER
Esteban comes to the Herald of Truth in 2025 as an experienced missionary and ambassador to Central America through the ministry One Kingdom. He is from Nicaragua and has spent his life serving the people of Central America through mission trips, local evangelism, and translating. He has a strong heart for helping others and will now serve as the Director of Online Outreach for the Herald of Truth. He will also be helping provide leadership consultation for our Spanish church planting efforts through MESA. He and his beautiful family live in West Monroe, LA.
